My Mom is planning to drive, starting this Thursday, from my sister's house in Pennsylvania to my house in Atlanta, then to her brother's house in southern Michigan, then back to Pennsylvania. Please pray for her own safety, as well as those on the same road; she is not a safe driver.

I offered to buy her a round trip plane ticket, but she would rather drive. I'm sure a large part of it has to do with needing to feel independent.

Did I mention she's over 80 years old? Well, that has almost nothing to do with it; she's just as safe or unsafe as I've known her to be for the last 30 or 40 years.
