Remodel America
We recently had all new siding installed on our home, soffets and gutters included, by Remodel America. Yes, those guys who have minutes-long commercials during weekend TBS movies. The process was quite painless and very quick. Start-to-finish, it took about a week, and this included the original in-home consultation.
They did a very professional job. It looked really good when they were done, except for one wall. One part of my house (it's an older home) is just off-level, but the siding was hung level. This made the siding not quite square with the wall. This showed up glaringly on my home because of the lines around the windows and the brick (the lower floor is bricked in front). They were so fast, we were unable to catch this problem until the wall was done--in fact, the whole job was almost complete. When we pointed it out, there was some initial resistance to fixing it, but this is to be expected. We insisted it needed to be fixed. We were given all the standard caveats ("it won't be level"), and then they proceeded to fix it per our instructions--within that hour! Within a few hours, the whole wall had been redone, and it looked great. This kind of service was most impressive. The change did not cost us a dime more than was quoted at the beginning.
Remodel America does something else rather unique: they don't get paid until the job is done to your satisfaction. This is amazing for a contractor, a demonstration of superior ethics. When our job was done, we were happy to pay them; it was done so well, we had no reservations.
We also have no reservations about recommending them to others. Their products are superior, and their service cannot be beat. Oh, and they refuse to hire illegal aliens--a nice, ethical, lawful bonus there.
