Rescue a child

Do you have an opportunity to rescue a child from slavery and torture? There is a modern culture not too far from here that practices child sacrifice. Innocent little children of most any age are handed over to brutal killers to be slowly tortured and eventually slain. Many are killed even before they've ever seen daylight. Those who survive are enslaved, usually for the rest of their lives. The legitimate authorities put enormous pressure upon parents to surrender their children for sacrifice. Often backed into corners with few or seemingly no options, parents give over their precious gifts to the authorities, who will then dispose of them. Many parents give in unwillingly, feeling trapped and threatened. Others have been so well conditioned that they gladly surrender their kids and go so far as to extol the virtues of child sacrifice--as if any amount of spin could justify it. A select few are even recruited to participate in the slaughter, making it ever more efficient.

As this sick culture is not far from your home, you are quite likely to encounter its effects. You may even see these poor kids being bussed from their homes and into oblivion. If you have a chance to rescue any of these kids from this all-but-certain doom, you have a moral obligation to do so. Sadly, you'll find the biggest obstacles are the parents of those gleefully being sold into slavery and eventual death. For them, you can only pray. Every now and again, though, you may find parents who want to keep their children, raise them in a Godly home, and spare them the brutality the authorities have in store. Jump at the chance to rescue such children. Work with the parents to free them from the clutches of evil. Go the extra mile; make the extra effort; do what it takes to save the children from the brainwashing, torture, enslavement, and spiritual death meted out by the government.

Those in the know will easily recognize this melodrama to be a reference to government education. Those in denial of reality will be pissed at me for "misleading" them, when in truth, they're just pissed at themselves because they know they're failing the precious gifts God gave them.

Let's go over some facts here. What does a government education have to offer?

  • The proverbial gun is stuck into the ribs of the innocent while their hard-earned money is stolen from them and handed over to bureaucrats to waste on the maleducation of other people's children.
  • Academic performance is the lowest of any form of education.
  • An ever increasing number are unable to read, write, or perform basic mathematical calculations even while attempting to enter college.
  • Bullies beat them and steal their money.
  • They're put in harm's way as those who don't play by the rules bring weapons to kill their classmates.
  • They're forbidden from any exploration of Christian theology or history, while most any other faith is available to them.
  • Schools are the hot spots for gangs and drugs, the gateways to the underworld of crime.
  • Molestation by authority figures is all too common (probably more common than anyone realizes).
  • Ever changing academic terminology meant to confuse and isolate parents and inflate the power of the teachers (e.g., "new math").
  • They learn how to stand in line, shut up, follow orders mindlessly and without question, else their futures are destroyed.
  • They learn their parents are wrong and the State is always right.
  • Kids' social skills (language, manners, gestures, disrespect, hygiene, and fashion) are learned from their peers, as they can only associate with kids their own age.
  • Values are doled out by disinterested government employees and immature peers.
  • Students are herded from one imprisoned classroom to the next and finally into a guided career mindlessly serving the interests of the society's rulers, both corporate and government.
  • All this for over $6,000 per year per student (national average); over $9,000 in Gwinnett County.

Meanwhile, an option available to most everyone, even if only with great difficulty, offers the following:

  • One-on-one instruction.
  • Teachers who love their students and will stop at nothing to see them succeed.
  • Independent thought. Ability and opportunity to challenge the status quo.
  • Customized curriculum, tailored for each learning style and personality.
  • Safe environment, protected by loved ones.
  • Exposure to myriad social situations and differing age groups.
  • Manners, language, and all social skills taught by loving adults, not children.
  • The best academic opportunities available, just as good as is available to the very rich.
  • Limitless opportunities to explore interests, be they academic, artistic and creative, physical, or philosophical.
  • Field trips like no class of 30 brats could undertake.
  • Guidance in a time-tested worldview passed down through the generations.
  • All for an average of less than $600 per year per student.

If you are in the unfortunate position of being forced into choosing government education over a proper one, then ask for help. We have a Biblical duty to help one another in Godly ways, and there's no educational option more Godly than homeschooling. (One could make a reasoned argument that homeschooling may be the only Godly educational option today.) There's nothing to be ashamed of in asking fellow believers to help you do what's right, especially for your children. No Godly believers should pass an opportunity to help others rescue their children from the pits of a government indoctrination.

Pardon my French, but what kind of a moron would willingly choose the former over the latter? If you see government education as a viable alternative, then you should have your kids taken away from you, given to Godly parents, and you should be put to death. I've been told I'm too harsh here. After all, God is still extending grace to such parents; perhaps I should, too, for now. In the meantime, the best we can do, in addition to fervent prayer, is to rescue as many as we can when we find parents willing to do the right thing.
