Georgia, Israel and the nature of man

This is a good article on the Russian invasion of Georgia, the West's abandonment of their ally, and the lessons to be learned in defense of Israel. » read more »

Time for Revolution

| |

I've blogged a bit in the past about the demise of this once great nation and the inevitable need for another revolution to restore liberty once again. I've repeatedly said it's not yet time for revolt, despite our present government's abuses being far worse than the British crown's in the mid-to-late eighteenth century. In discussions of late, I've come to realize just when it is time for revolt, armed if necessary. » read more »

Treason

|

Treason is essentially working for the enemy. The Third World is invading our nation through mass, unchecked, illegal migration. Those who help this invasion of criminals are guilty of treason. I wonder if those who cater to foreign languages in this country are aiding this invasion by making it more feasible for them to live here. » read more »

What to do with Iran

| |

Iran presents a special problem for Israel. MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction) doesn't work with a people anxious to "die for Allah". What greater deterrent is there for such fanatics? » read more »

Exposing Islam

| |

Muslims seem intent to prove Islam's peaceful nature, even if they have to kill you to do it. Dave wrote about this a year ago, but the Dutch may have finally found a backbone :

A Dutch parliamentarian who believes Islam’s massive global growth is feeding on the worldwide fear of denouncing the violence-based religion, this week did what few men have had the courage to do, and confronted it. » read more »

The problem of Iraq

|

We all know there are issues with the war in Iraq, regardless of whether we support it or not. (For all who support the war, remember that opposing a war yet supporting the troops themselves is perfectly viable.) No weapons of mass destruction have been found. Well, some chemical components have been found, but then, I have plenty of chemicals in my own home that can be used to do some serious harm. (I figure it's only a matter of time before that's used against me.) No nukes, although there have been unconfirmed rumors of Iraq moving the nukes to Syria or Libya just before the war. Saddam Hussein was cowering in a bunker as all bullies do when facing the bulk of the American military. Oil prices haven't exactly dropped as a result of freeing up Iraq's oil. (We won't go into the economics of this here.) Iraq has never been a major player in the terrorist game; sure, they help out a group or two here and there, now and again--but everybody knows it's Iran and Saudi Arabia who are the real power behind most of the world's terrorists. And of course, it was Pakistan that saw fit to practically publish the "secrets" of making nukes to every Muhammad and his brother. The region isn't exactly stable by any stretch of the imagination, but then, it never has been. So why are we in Iraq? Or more relevant, why are we still in Iraq? » read more »

Not the REAL G.I. Joe!

This is outrageous! I will boycott this film as proposed.

Kick them out

|

Vox says kick them out. "Mexican-Americans"--the very term connotes treason--are supposed to remain loyal to Mexico first. How are Americans putting up with their leaders' tolerance of this? I would not be surprised if armed combat eventually ensues, given the right precipitating events.

The Speech George W. Bush Should Give

| | |

We all have our disagreements with President Bush. Immigration, U.S.
Attorney firings, Iraq, Darfur, etc. are all hot topics these days. The
following "speech" was written yesterday by an ordinary Maineiac. While
satirical in nature, all satire must have a basis in fact to be effective.
An excellent piece by a person who does not write for a living. Sent
with the author's permission.

The speech George W. Bush SHOULD give:

Normally, I start these things out by saying "My Fellow Americans." Not
doing it this time. If the polls are any indication, I don't know
who more than half of you are anymore. I do know something terrible » read more »
